Features

Flop pruning

Prune one node, or cascade through every flop decision below it. Each node is re-solved on the tree already simplified above it.

Turn pruning

Every runout is solved as its own subtree, the +EV sizes are locked into the full tree. In one run it can prune every turn node of the solution.

Transpose nodelocks

Carry the simplified flop and turn strategies back onto your original solutions, matched by action. Useful for working with the PioViewer 3 Flop Aggregation tool, Aggregation Reports and other similar tools.

Convert saves

Re-save older .cfr files in the compressed PioSolver 3.10 format, many folders at once.

PioViewer integration

Prune turn and river nodes inside PioViewer: install the plugin from Settings and use the Tree_Simplifier menu. Keep the best size or the best two, on one runout or on all of them. See the guide.

Does it change my original solutions?

No. Flop and turn pruning write to new pruned_flop and pruned_turn folders, and transposition to pruned_final. Only the Convert Saves tool can replace originals, and only when you tick that option yourself.

How is the "best" bet size chosen?

Each candidate size is given its own tree, solved to the accuracy you set, and compared on the expected value of the player who acts at that node. The highest EV wins.

What is the difference between Simple and Nodelock output?

Simple saves the reduced tree, re-solved with only the winning size. Nodelock keeps your original tree, locks the node to the simplified strategy and solves the rest to accuracy. Use it when you want to keep the full tree for later study.

Why does it need PioSolver 3.10?

TreeSimplifier relies on commands and the compressed save format introduced in PioSolver 3.10. Support for earlier releases may come later, but it is not planned for the beta.

How does licensing work?

TreeSimplifier is tied to your PioSolver license: as long as you have access to that license, you have access to TreeSimplifier. It is free during the beta.
